Vision
is visual perception is the ability to interpret information from visible light reaching the eye.The
resulting perception is also known as eyesight, sight or vision. The various physiological components involved in vision are
referred to collectively as the visual system, and are the focus of much research in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience
and molecular biology. Many mystics take the word vision to be synonymous with apparition. Artistic inspiration may
provide a special category of the ecstatic vision: traditionally in such cases the semi-divine Muses may transmit the visioning
to their loyal followers. Visions generally have more clarity than dreams, but traditionally fewer psychological connotations.
The psychological mechanism to engender visionary perception and trance phenomena is focussed intention and attention. Evolution is change in the genetic material of
a population of organisms from one generation to the next. Though the changes produced in any one generation are small, differences
accumulate with each generation and can, over time, cause substantial changes in the organisms. This process can culminate
in the emergence of new species.
